Let’s be honest: the union between classical music, techniques, and approaches and rock, hard rock, and metal is rather unexpected, and sometimes even frowned upon. But, often, when unlikely amalgamations occur, a hauntingly beautiful, otherworldly musical experience is born.
And the proof: The Rock Orchestra By Candlelight live in concert. 90 minutes of spellbinding music, performed by a chamber orchestra of 14 skeletal musicians with rhinestone masks, bathed in an ethereal sea of candles; energetic, dramatic, and exciting music performed with perfection in a setting framed by crooked, lurching towers, floating lanterns, and giant headbanging puppets.

The Rock Orchestra By Candlelight cemented themselves in the performance industry as a force to be reckoned with. They are breathing a beautiful dark energy into the legendary music of some of the most iconic metal and rock bands around: it’s Metallica, AC/DC, The Rolling Stones, Pantera, My Chemical Romance, Linkin Park, System Of A Down, Guns N’ Roses, Evanescence, Papa Roach, Led Zeppelin, Rage Against The Machine, Motörhead, and The Cranberries like you’ve never heard them before. From a crushing rendition of System Of A Down’s “Toxicity” and the fearless performance of Rage Against The Machine’s “Killing In The Name” to a smashing saxophone solo in AC/DC’s “Thunderstruck”, from Papa Roach’s “Last Resort” getting a symphonic overhaul to the ripping version of Guns N’ Roses’ “Sweet Child O’Mine”, it's pure brilliance, superb musicianship, and showmanship.
Apart from the musical prowess of the whole orchestra, leading violist Ivana Cetkovic’s technique is like fireworks, and vocalists Erin Fox and Scott Murphy’s voices are second to none.
